Kruger groomed for own show

Sonia Kruger is always a busy girl. As well as her radio show in Sydney (from which she is taking a break to care for her ill father), she regularly shoots showbiz segments for Today Tonight. Meanwhile Seven has been looking for a format that would give her a programme of her own.

Next week she will begin work on a makeover show, 10 Years Younger in 10 Days. Kruger will work with style-challenged couples, updating their beauty, fashion and grooming routines.

Likely to be shown later this year, it is based on 10 Years Younger shown in the US, UK, New Zealand and South Africa.

Kruger has worked on a number of pilots for Seven recently including a dating show, Ten Things I Like About You. With all these “tens” in her titles, you could be forgiven for thinking she was on another network!

But it will be good to see her given her own vehicle.

My wife and I have worked hard over the past 10 years.
With our 3 boys now at School is it possible to reward
ourself with a make over? My wife works in the mines and I
am a partime sales consultant and fulltime dad, and football umpire.

  2. I would like to know the name of the dental surgeon in the last programme of the 28/04/09
Carry-on with the show it’s a good ego boost for viewers that dream of being “Ten Years Younger”
    Congratulations on the show

  4. When the UK version started they did minor hair/make-up, botox and dentist but the “in 10 days” was deleted from the title when they started doing full cosmetic surgery as the recovery can be 4 weeks or more. I wonder how far channel 7 will go.

  5. Hey David,

What happened to the Pilot of the dating show that you referred to? Has that been scrapped in favour of the makeover show you’re referring to?

    Thanks,

    Dak.
