Mad as Susie

As part of the charity fundraiser Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea, WIN’s Susie Elelman has a mad hatter’s tea party planned for ‘Wicked’ stars Rob Guest and Penny McNamee, and a number of her regulars.

The chat host donned a white rabbit suit and her guests wore Alice in Wonderland hats all in the spirit of the Cancer Council benefit.

Susie airs across six states on WIN and irs at midday in Adelaide and Perth on Nine.

Susie Elelman, host of SUSIE, WIN’s national daytime variety and lifestyle show, is having a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party and you’re invited!

On Thursday 22 May, 2008, as part of Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea, Susie wears her best Mad Hatter’s Tea Party outfit – which happens to be a rabbit suit! – to help raise funds and awareness for The Cancer Council of Australia.

Joining in the fun and donning some mad hats is Rob Guest, best known for his seven years as the Phantom in Phantom of the Opera and soon to star as the Wizard in Wicked, one of the hottest musicals in the world, which debuts in Australia on 12th July.

Actor, singer, dancer Penny McNamee joins our Mad Hatter’s Tea Party dressed as Alice in Wonderland. Penny co-stars with Rob in Wicked, The Musical.

Plus, Australia’s leading astrologer, Milton Black plays the Mad Hatter, grins like a Cheshire cat and talks about the change from Taurus to Gemini in the Zodiac calendar.

Renowned French Gourmet Academy principal Beatrice Levanti prepares delicious tea and special cakes and discusses the anti-oxidant properties of tea, which helps fight the free radicals that cause cancer.

Each weekday SUSIE brings viewers big names from the music and film worlds and an even broader palette of regular features including travel, food, finance, health and wellbeing.
