Cold Case: Cold Case, the compelling drama series from producer Jerry Bruckheimer, maker of hits including CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and Without A Trace, returns to WIN on Wednesday, May 28 at 8.30pm.

Kathryn Morris plays smart, driven Detective Lilly Rush of the Philadelphia homicide squad who works on cold cases, these cases once thought unsolvable. Rush’s team includes her mentor Lieutenant John Stillman (John Finn), veteran cop Will Jeffries (Thom Barry), tough cop Nick Vera (Jeremy Ratchford), Detective Scotty Valens (Danny Pino), Rush’s confident and strong-willed partner, and Detective Kat Miller (Tracie Thomas), a streetwise young narcotics detective who joined the squad after helping solve a 1973 case.

In the series return of Cold Case the team investigates the murder of an unidentified “Jane Doe” who died after living for years as an invalid due to complications from a gunshot wound that put her in a coma in 1989.

No victim is ever forgotten

Don’t miss the series return of all-new Cold Case Wednesday, May 28 at 8.30pm.

MPU:
Missing Persons Unit, the real-life drama of Australia’s MPU police teams and the people desperate to find their loved ones, returns to the Nine Network for a fourth series on Wednesday, May 28 at 9.30pm, presented by Mike Munro.

The compelling audience favourite begins with a busy week at the Missing Persons Unit in Sydney, where Constable Adam Marsh fears for the safety of Jessica, 16, who he thinks has fallen under the spell of an older man.

Then it’s a race against time in Sydney’s west to find missing dementia sufferer Wilfred Simons. The desperate search is assisted by MPU officers Mandy and Steve, SES volunteers, a police helicopter, push bike police and even Tango the bloodhound.

Senior Constable Mark Gillard tries to find missing 22-year-old dad David Randolph, who said he was going fishing but vanished, leaving his fiancée and two toddlers feeling desperate and abandoned.

Meanwhile in South Australia, its real life CSI as a suburban backyard becomes a potential crime scene with Detective Sergeant Paul Ward using new technology to investigate the 24-year-old case of missing teenager Michaela Godau.

“Missing Persons Unit is a show we’re extremely proud of. It has been an outstanding success since it was launched in 2006,” John McAvoy, Head of Factual Programming for Nine, said. “Remarkably, it has now played a part in solving over 50 cases and the new series continues on with that great work.”

Missing Persons Unit is a Nine Network series, produced by Freehand TV with the support and cooperation of the Missing Persons police divisions..
