As if Desperate Housewives‘ time leap wasn’t enough, now there is word four years will have passed when 24 returns next year.

That’ll make Jack Bauer 52 years old (in reality Kiefer Sutherland is 41).

Chloe (Mary-Lynn Rajskub), who was revealed to be pregnant in last year’s finale, will suddenly have a 4-year-old kid.

“We’ve always built in significant passages of time between seasons of 24‘for dramatic purposes,” said a spokesman from Fox, the studio that produces the show.

“Luckily, like all great iconic characters, Jack Bauer is ageless.” Kinda like Maggie Simpson?

The show returns with a ‘prequel’ telemovie towards the end of this year.

  1. So preguel TV movie, does that mean sometime between seasons or before the series started?

    Also did the show already have a time jump between seasons? or was that just to catch up with correct time?
