Ryan Murphy series leaked

Another US drama has had its pilot episode leaked on the internet, the fourth in a week.

Pretty Handsome is the latest drama by hotshot writer Ryan Murphy (Nip / Tuck, Popular, Running with Scissors). Originally titled 4 oz, it depicts a married man who has to tell his family he is transsexual.

Murphy has assembled quite a cast for the spicy drama, including Joseph Fiennes in the lead role, with Carrie-Anne Moss playing his wife, Robert Wagner as his father and Blythe Danner as his mother. Australian Chris Egan (Home and Away) also has a role.

The original title referred to the average weight of a penis. It might have been altered to avoid confusion with the failed Stanley Tucci series 3 lbs.

Pretty Handsome has been made by FX Networks, the same home for Nip / Tuck.

  1. The fringe pilot was horrible, the Life on Mars pilot was great, and I’m not interested in watching either this series or that HBO vampire one.

  2. Out of all the new pilots that have leaked, this was my favourite. It wasn’t perfect, but it’s definately the one that held my interest the most.

    It’s definately got a great cast, although in my opinion Chris Egan’s acting was a bit of a letdown.

    I’m definately looking forward to seeing more.
