Two and a Half CSIs

That crossover episode of CSI scripted by the writers from Two and Half Men will screen at the end of this month.

“Two and a Half Deaths” stars Katey Sagal (Married with Children, Lost) as ‘Annabelle’ a brash sitcom star who is found dead with a rubber chicken down her throat. The writers certainly have a lot of fun with the episode, sometimes straying into satire.

There are lots of in jokes, and self-referential lines of dialogue that make this a lot of fun. During a visit to a TV studio Charlie Sheen, Jon Cryer and Angus T. Jones – the three stars of Two and a Half Men can be seen milling outside a trailer. There is even a reference to “jump the shark.” The cast also features J.D. Walsh (Two and a Half Men), Stephen Tobolowsky (Seinfeld) and Diedrich Bader (Drew Carey Show).

See if you can figure out the show’s “two and a half deaths” by the end of the plot.

Nine will screen the flipside of this CBS experiment: Two and a Half Men scripted by CSI writers in Sydney and Brisbane at 8pm Tuesday July 1.

CSI “Two and a Half Deaths” airs 8:30pm Sunday June 29 on Nine.

  1. there was an ad today for the Two and a Half Men episode written by the CSI writers. i only caught the end of it, but i believe it said it would be aired on Tuesday 1 July

  2. I downloaded this episode. First episode of CSI I watched in years. I downloaded it purely to see what the 2.5 writers would do to it. It was surprisingly entertaining. There are heaps of great moments like when one guy gets arrested and moans “that went rather badly” and heaps of other moments. Great ep. Something should also be said about this being the last episode before the season finale.

  3. She was romantically linked to Locke in the flashbacks from I think season 2 & 3. She looked really different from her Married with Children days.
She was also in 8 Simple Rules…
