Bumped: Mark Loves Sharon, Burn Notice

TEN is making a switch to its Monday night programming from next week moving Mark Loves Sharon to 10:30pm.

Burn Notice moves forward to 9:30pm from July 21.

While the new timeslot for the offbeat drama makes sense it isn’t an ideal outcome for the local comedy.

It is also changes the flow of one local comedy, Good News Week to another.

  1. This is good news for Burn Notice fans, however if the BB Finale runs as late as the last one did, then BB will end up killing BN like it killed Torchwood. >:(

  2. I’ve forgotten…or rather, I don’t know what happened, given that I’ve never watched that show. I’m presuming it ran overtime by a fair amount?

  3. Don’t count on it lancer1993. And of course it won’t really start at 9.30, cause of the bb final. Has anyone forgotten what happened last year…

  4. Looks like Marks Loves Sharon is finally being moved to the DEATH timeslot… hopefully it will be off the air soon… if not… it will be moved to an unwanted timeslot!

  5. Mark loves Sharon is like an album by the Foo Fighters or The Presets – their best moments are great fun but a whole album is an endurance test.

  6. Doesn’t surprise me. Mark Loves Sharon is a horrible show and Ten have been airing encores of it at least 4 times every weekend. Even with the GNW lead-in its bene ratings poorly and for good reason. I’d rather see James Mathison’s new comedy Life of Leisure than that lame Wedge spinoff. Only seen a couple of minutes of Burn Notice, but I enjoyed what I saw and this is good news for that series.
