FOX8 to screen live Criss Angel stunt

For the first time ever, a Criss Angel Mindfreak stunt will air live in Australia as it takes place in the US.

On Thursday July 31, FOX8 will bring live coverage of a stunt which sees Angel shackled in a six-storey building in Florida, loaded with explosives and set to detonate.

He must attempt to escape the restraints and overcome physical obstacles to make it to a hovering helicopter on the roof before the building implodes in front of the crowd, cameras and viewers at home watching in the U.S, Latin America and Australia.

It screens at 12pm and is replayed in the evening at 9:30pm.

FOX8 will present exclusive LIVE coverage of Criss Angel’s next death-defying attempt, crossing to Florida on Thursday, July 31 at midday (AEST), when the world-renowned mystifier proposes to escape from a building before it implodes.

This is the first ever live episode of the A&E-produced Criss Angel Mindfreak series, which airs exclusively in Australia on FOX8. This special episode will be replayed on the evening of July 31, at 9.30pm AEST.

Robert Sharenow and Elaine Frontain Bryant are the A&E executive producers for Criss Angel Mindfreak. The series is created, directed and produced by Criss Angel, and produced by Angel Productions Inc. and The Firm. Criss Angel, Dave Baram and Erich Recker serve as the executive producers.

From July 23, the Criss Angel Mindfreak series will be in the FOX8 schedule on Wednesdays at 7.30pm.

FOX8 will launch the Australian premiere season of Criss Angel Mindfreak Series Three, in late August.
