Larry off Seven’s dance card

Let the speculation begin once again.

Larry Emdur will not be hosting Seven’s Dancing with the Stars.

TV Tonight can reveal the cheerful host was told today he would not be fronting the next series of Seven’s variety show. Emdur, was considered by many to be the front runner for the role after Shane Bourne reportedly turned it down. The Morning Show host had always responded coyly to media rumours, humbly conceding the gig would be “awesome.”

So who is now left on Seven’s dance card? Andrew O’Keefe? He’s busy with his own Tonight show. David Koch? He’s repeatedly said nil interest. Andrew Daddo? He’s off to Beijing. What about his brother Cameron? He’s popping up in Nine’s Scorched. Jamie Durie? His contract is said to be up soon. Grant Denyer? Tom Williams? Ray Martin? Mike Munro? Gretel Killeen?

Seven’s show is also said to be moving to a Sunday slot when it returns post-Olympics.

  1. thats a shame, larry would have been good, i saw on the sunrise tickker this morning that the “stars” are being announced on sunrise this morning, maybe they will mention host at the same time..who knows..

  2. I`ve heard it will not be moving to Sunday, As Rove is filmed in the Studio Next Door , by the same team and it would be a logistical Nightmare.
