Dates
The official dates of the XXIX Olympiad are August 8 – 24.
Seven will precede the broadcast with an Aus v Serbia football match 9pm AEST Thursday Aug 7.

Time Difference
Beijing is 2 hours behind the Australian east coast seaboard.

Paralympics ABC1 / ABC2
The Opening Ceremony airs at 9:50pm on Saturday September 6 on both ABC1 and ABC2. Hosted by Adam Hills, Louise Sauvage and Karen Tighe.
Daily coverage on ABC2: Sunday Sept 7 – Wednesday Sept 17. 1pm – 5pm, 7.30pm – 11pm.
