‘Tell me what you don’t like about yourself’

Nip / Tuck has announced it will wrap after its sixth season, but that won’t be until 2011.

And creator Ryan Murphy is sticking with the show. This news follows word that his latest series Pretty Handsome was not picked up.

In the US, FX has already aired 14 episodes of its current (interrupted) fifth season. The remaining eight are set to premiere in January.

The final season concluding in early 2011 will contain 19 new episodes, bringing the show’s total to 100.

In Australia the Nine Network has only aired three series, the last one which had a chequered commitment from Nine programmers. Much has happened to the series since the end of Series 3 -be careful of internet spoilers.

It also screens on Arena.

  1. I’m with Alex. Not sure why Nine dropped it… one of the best shows (not) on TV. I’ll definitely PVR it too 🙂

A sixth season would probably be good and I’m not sure they should take it much further. It’s one of those amazing shows that deserves to end while still strong.

  2. OMG… NINE BRING BACK THIS SHOW! Would you believe I never watched this show on tv, but got the first 3 seasons on DVD about 3 months ago and watched the whole lot in a week. I would so PVR the 4 season if it was on. DOn’t care what time slot 🙂

I HEART PVR… dont care when shows are on e.g. the nanny/(early hours) and amazing race (10:00 is it?)
