Survivor: Gabon cast

And here is the cast of Survivor: Gabon “Earth’s Last Eden.”

The series kicks off in the US September 25, set in the African wilderness (personally I always prefer the metaphorical crashing waves to riverbank settings).

Filmed for the first time in HD, the tribes on this occasion are said to represent “good and evil”. Exile Island will return simply as ‘Exile.’

“If you’re a Survivor fan and you have HD, it will be a completely different show,” said Jeff Probst. “When you incorporate the wildlife, it’s kind of like being in a Spielberg movie. I mean, it’s so real-looking that it’s exciting and scary.”

The prospects for Survivor airing in Australia are not encouraging. Nine has yet to screen Survivor “fans v favourites” edition. When TV Tonight last asked about the series’ future, the vague answer was “summer.”

Here are the contestants:
– Randy Bailey, a 49-year-old videographer from Eagle Rock, MO
– Jacque Berg, a 25-year-old medical device sales representative from Santa Barbara, CA
– Danny “G.C.” Brown, a 26-year-old maintenance supervisor from Portland, OR
– Michelle Chase, a 24-year-old music production assistant from Los Angeles, CA
– Crystal Cox, a 29-year-old 2004 Olympic gold-medalist track athlete from Durham, NC
– Robert “Bob” Crowley, a 57-year-old physics teacher from South Portland, ME
– Kelly Czarnecki, a 22-year-old retail salesperson from Buffalo Grove, IL
– Ace Gordon, a 27-year-old fashion photographer and Cartier jewelry salesman from Naples, FL who was raised in London
– Charlie Herschel, a 29-year-old lawyer from New York, NY
– Ken Hoang, a 22-year-old professional video gamer from Westminster, CA
– Corinne Kaplan, a 29-year-old pharmaceutical sales representative from Los Angeles, CA
– Dan Kay, a 32-year-old lawyer from Walpole, MA

– Gillian Larson, a 61-year-old retired nurse from Temecula, CA who was raised in South Africa
– Marcus Lehman, a 28-year-old doctor from Atlanta, GA

Samoa and season 20 is inviting back former winners to either play in an all winners edition or versing the biggest fans ever. so it might be the last season. i hope its not coz i have to be on season 25 LOL.

  4. I was all excited tonight as the Arena channel on foxtel advertised Survivor coming back to Australian TV, I presumed it would be the next series on from what was previously shown on channel 9 (Fans vs Favourites)…Wrong!
Its airing season 13..Cook Islands!! Channel 9 need to get it back on..at least channel 7 somewhat keeps up which the Amazing Race series..its such a shame we Aussie fans are able to watch this terrific program, well not until a year or so after its shown in the U.S!

  11. In the herald sun’s (melbourne newspaper) TV Guide it said that Survivor Gabon would be shown straight after fans Vs Favourites, yet it’s not in this weeks TV Guide!
Why make promises and get everynes hope up if it’s not gonna happen?

  12. i wish this could be a program that stay on every week. i love this show so much until i hate it when it ends and it it mounts be fore it comes on again,i rate the program above all others please never take it off the are.

  13. I agree with Donna. We DON’T need another series of “farmer wants a wife”. Survivor is tried and tested. Bring it back Channel 9, even if you want to put it on at 3.am in the morning. It at least gives us the chance to see it.

  14. i’m really disappointed that Channel 9 have not continued to screen the Survivor series each season. Most other channels thrive on showing series season after season. Channel 9 need to wake up to themselves and realise that Survivor is now in its 17th series which means it’s popular and people love to watch it. Bring back Survivor channel 9 not another series of ‘farmer wants a wife’

  15. I agree …….. c’mon Channel 9 show Survivor Gabon!!! It is a popular show, this TV station has been reasonably good at sticking with Survivor shows so continue the practice THE FANS AND VIEWERS ARE HERE!!!!!

  16. I am very disappointed that channel 9 has stopped airing this show. Why can`t you put it on late at night so people can at least tape the show and watch it at a later date. Please bring it back !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
