World cinema site coming to SBS

SBS is developing a new website destination aimed at world cinema including “foreign language, cult, indie and impactful non-fiction films.”

The site, which is still some months off completion, promises “reviews, news, blogs, trailers, features and exclusive interviews with some of the world’s most intriguing filmmakers, all courtesy of an accomplished team of writers and international content partners.

“In addition to that, we’ll delve into the considerable archives of SBS to bring you filmmaker retrospectives, and revisit old favourites to see how well they stand up to the test of time.”
