Hole in the schedule Wall

If you're expecting to see Jules Lund's wacky show tonight, Nine has other plans for you.

If you’re expecting to see Hole in the Wall tonight, Jules Lund has other plans. Well, Nine programmers do anyway.

Nine has issued an amendment today, that the show is off tonight, replaced by a repeat of Two and a Half Men, “Anteaters.”

Hole’s “Brain v Brawn” episode, the sixth in the series is rescheduled for next Wednesday, October 1st at 8pm. It features Dr Cindy Pan, Karl Stefanovic, Drew Jarvis, Brendan Fevola, Candice Falzon and Jason Stevens.

Sometimes television programming is a bit like trying to take a TV viewer and pushing them through an amendment wall. They end up in the drink, too.

  1. i called up channel 9 to complain and all i got was “press 1 for television producers and 2 for offair programs” so i pressed 1 and got the same message. pressed 2 got the same message. so it was just repeating constantly. This was at 8pm

    Not very professional

  2. This is good news.
Two and a half men, even a repeat is a whole lot funnier than Hole in the Head.

Mind you, Jules Lund as a host, is almost a comedy act.

Come to think about it, I can recall the old Test Patterns being more entertaining than Hole in the wall or Jules!!!

  3. I wonder why this is? Perhaps they are testing whether Two and a Half Men can win them the timeslot. If I was Nine, I would move Hole in the Wall to Saturday 7.30 with double episodes, because the novelty is wearing off. Then I would air some of Nine’s doco series in this timeslot, either Hunted, Sudden Impact, The Waiting Room, Extraordinary Animals, or The Irwin’s Australia Zoo.

  4. I’m undecided whether that is good news or bad news, considering that i don’t watch either one. That would have to be the latest amendment which has been issued (or perhaps embargoed) so close to air time.
