More names are lining up as presenters for the 60th Emmy Awards in a little over a week’s time.
Christina Applegate will make her first public appearance since announcing she was clear of cancer. No doubt her appearance will be an emotional moment in the room.
Also set to present are Candice Bergen, David Boreanaz, Wayne Brady, Jimmy Kimmel, Kiefer Sutherland, America Ferrera, Hayden Panettiere, Vanessa Williams, Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman, Eva Longoria, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.
US Critics are tipping where the wins will go with general agreement over Mad Men for Best Drama, 30 Rock for Comedy, Glenn Close for Lead Actress (Drama) and The Amazing Race (Reality). But other categories indicate more division.
Best Actor (Drama) shows Hugh Laurie, Jon Hamm and James Spader all popular, Best Actress (Comedy) seems a tussle between Tina Fey and Christina Applegate. Alec Baldwin looks to be ahead of Steve Carrell as Lead Actor (Comedy) according to the crits.
The Emmys will air live on Arena Monday September 22 at 10am and highlights will screen on TEN later that night.

She’s a beautiful and courageous lady, and I’m looking forward to seeing her next week.
She was/is brilliant as Samantha – so your hiccup is totally understandable, David. I’ve found the only way to prevent these sorts of things, is to eat more chocolate.
Well at least you know us kids in the back of the peanut gallery are still paying attention 🙂
Dang it…. thanks for the correction guys (yes all of you)…I don’t know what it is….my mind just always goes straight Samantha Who with the lovely Christina, and I can’t seem to shake the error!
You all get an elephant stamp and I’m off to the naughty step.
