TEN's coverage of Australia v New Zealand will air live in Sydney and Melbourne.

For those who are interested in the broadcasting of Netball on Channel TEN (there has been quite a bit of interest via this site), there are two more games due, against New Zealand.

All games are commentated by Liz Ellis and Luke Darcy.

In September 2008, Network TEN became the Official Broadcast Partner of Netball Australia. The partnership includes all 4 Test Matches of the 2008 Holden Netball.

Test Series (remaining):
Sunday 26 October Australia v New Zealand Melbourne
Sunday 2 November Australia v New Zealand Brisbane

TEN will broadcast full 2-hour coverage of each Test.

TEN’s coverage of the New Zealand Tests will commence at 3pm on both days, Live in Sydney and Melbourne. TEN’s commentary team will be lead by AFL commentator and Network personality Luke Darcy who will be joined by Netball Legend Liz Ellis.

  1. Given that it is off peak viewing (early Sunday afternoon), there is no reason why Ten shouldn’t show it live in all capital cities. If it was prime time I could understand the delay outside NSW/Vic, but it’s not.

  2. “Is it going to be shown in Brisbane at the same time but on delay because of Daylight Savings. ”

No, it’s going to be on delay because Ten is LAZY. How hard is to shirt around a schedule a little?

  3. Is it going to be shown in Brisbane at the same time but on delay because of Daylight Savings. Luke Darcy should never have been given the main commentator gig. He’s a special comments guy and it shows up badly as there are too many silent periods when he was commentating. Surely Ten could have gotten Anthony Hudson or Stephen Quartermaine to do it.

  4. As a Queenslander, it is stupid that, Ten will not bother to screen the Brisbane test live into Queensland. Another great event wrecked by networks who only think fast growing Queensland is worth for making a quick buck…
