Seven’s talent show Australia’s Got Talent is already gearing up for its third season. Clearly pushing it towards an early ’09 slot, Heats begin in January and the Grand Final is slated for April 2009.

Auditions for wacky contestants with skills frequently in search of a home, can front at Seven’s national tour beginning in Canberra on November 8 and ending in Byron Bay on December 7.

The Australia’s Got Talent national audition tour kicks off in Canberra on Saturday, November 8 before heading to Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide, Hobart, Brisbane and Byron Bay in an unprecedented search for Australia’s greatest undiscovered talent.

Australia’s Got Talent has uncovered the amazing talents of some very unique performers. Illusionists Soul Mystique, gum leaf player and Aussie Gem Herb Patten, young singing dynamo’s Bonnie Anderson and Jourdain and guitar whiz kid Smokin’ Joe Robinson, can all thank Australia’s Got Talent for making their dreams come true.

This year it could be you! If you can amaze, surprise or thrill an audience with your talents then we want to hear from you.

Novelty acts, jugglers, circus and street performers, magicians, comedians, animal acts, ventriloquists, burlesque performers, singers, dancers – you name it – the weird, the wacky and the truly wonderful, we want to see you!

  19. i wish they would look for genuine talent, ie impersonators, comedians, singers and so on instead of the cheap one trick pony acts that are pointless and embarasing to Australia as a whole. But hey that’s seven Gotta love it….or else!
