  1. @ Luke W,

Your strong belief wasn’t borne out by ratings. Today’s ratings in Melbourne for Friday were lower than normal. In fact, Sunrise was only a thousand viewers behind. And, are you suggesting that this pod thing be their permanent Melbourne home?

  2. Although I mainly watch Sunrise, I tuned into Today this morning, simply because it was in Melbourne.

I strongly believe that if Today was based in Melbourne, it would really challenge Sunrise as even more Melbourne viewers will make the switch. I know I would. They could broadcast live from one of the pods in the Souther Star Observation Wheel for something a little different!

  3. yeh i had to double take when i saw ‘oprah’ as well, Has she ever even done an australian interview??

lol, the article says ‘melbournes most popular breakfast show’. sunrise has the ‘australia’s’ tag dont they?? sunrise is heaps better.
