Ajay pleads guilty

Biggest Loser host Ajay Rochester has entered a guilty plea to welfare fraud charges in Sydney.

Ajay Rochester, host of The Biggest Loser, has pleaded guilty to welfare fraud charges in Downing Centre Local Court, says The Age.

A lawyer acting for the television personality entered the plea on her behalf.

Rochester, 39, is charged with 23 counts of receiving the single parent payment from Centrelink when she was not eligible between December 2001 and December 2005.

Previously named Lee Ann Towler, Rochester began hosting the The Biggest Loser in 2006 after publication of her books as Confessions of a Reformed Dieter, Blubberguts and The Lazy Girl’s Guide to Losing Weight and Getting Fit.

Rochester will be sentenced on 13 January next year in the same court.

TEN has previously confirmed she will continue as host of the show despite a lack of her name or image in 2009 publicity material.
