And here is your first look at the girls from the second season of Satisfaction, coming to Showcase in December.

Here are Kestie Morassi, Alison Whyte, Diana Glenn, Madeleine West, Bojana Novakovic and Peta Sergeant -the girls from the second series of Satisfaction.
They will be joined by Dustin Clare, who will be introduced as a new character, Sean, the brother of Mel, played by Madeleine West.
On top of Whyte winning a Logie, both Whyte and Glenn are up for AFI Awards, while the show is also nominated for Best Drama Series.
It premieres 8:30pm Tuesday December 2nd on Showcase.
With the first season’s shattering conclusion, Season 2 finds the girls of Satisfaction picking up the pieces – where rivalry abounds, secrets uncovered and futures questioned. Back to work, and with the introduction of a new escort, 232 continues to service its clients like never before – yet behind the thin professional veil, relationships are tested and the boundaries of love crossed. Satisfaction 2 exposes the secret world of sex workers whilst uncovering the relationships they forge – as worker, mother, sister, brother, friend and lover.

I’m with you Grinspoon. I wasn’t overly impressed. It was well made & well acted, but the story seemed to be pointless.
I loeee this show.. I bought the dvd of it.. my god.. totally worth it!!..
everyone is fantastic in it!… everyone!.. doesn’t happen very often for an Australian tv show.
Was this show any good?
To me it seemed to be trying too hard to be edgy and then nothing to really engage me story wise. To be honest i never watched more than a few minutes which always seemed boring.
Somewhat cheaper, though, to wait for the DVD release. Foxtel still isn’t delivering enough quality overall to make the rather large financial hit worthwhile, in my opinion. Not that my opinion counts, since I live in the CBD where Foxtel never bothered to run their cable. Clever Foxtel.
Craig, if season 1 had been on FTA it would have rated it’s T&A off. Literally. Unless, of course, the religious nutters got to it first.

ETA just a pity it’s on at the same time at Gossip Girl, guess I’ll watch it the next day on the encore showing.
