The outcome of so many important matters depends on the capacity of the media to inform the public and to scrutinise governments and other powerful bodies. The decline that is occurring in outlets for quality journalism has huge implications for Australian life and the maintenance of our local culture.
This forum is an opportunity for the community to consider what is happening and what needs to be done.
