Producers Guild of America winners

John Adams, Mad Men, 30 Rock -yep, the usual suspects are again dubbed the best in America.

More familiar names take home a handful of awards given out by the Producers Guild of America.

The television winners were:

Long-Form Television: David Coatsworth, Frank Doelger, Gary Goetzman, Tom Hanks, Steven Sareshian, John Adams.

Television-Drama: Matthew Weiner, Scott Hornbacher, Mad Men.

Television-Comedy: Lorne Michaels, Tina Fey, Marci Klein, Robert Carlock, Jeff Richmond, Jerry Kupfer, David Miner, 30 Rock.

Non-Fiction Television: Jeff Fager, 60 Minutes.

Live Entertainment/Competition: Stephen T. Colbert, DFA, Jon Stewart, Allison Silverman, Richard Dahm, Meredith Bennett, Tom Purcell, The Colbert Report.

The film winners included Slumdog Millionaire and Wall-E.

  1. Get the feeling it is like mates awards or sympathy awards sometimes.
    Do the people voting actually watch the shows or rely on friends or seeing a 10 min compilation before deciding.
