X Factor not dropping Dannii

These rumours just keep on coming, but here's one that sounds more definitive.

xfactor460In the UK there are stories on Dannii and The X Factor every second day. She’s leaving, she’s not leaving, she’s verbally abused by Sharon Osbourne, she’s fallen out of favour with Cowell…. they are regurgitated with such regularity that TV Tonight ignores the bulk of them.

Here’s one that sounds a little more definitive.

Simon Cowell’s publicist Max Clifford has insisted that the rumours are untrue.

“These kind of things are put about by unscrupulous journalists and media people who make up all kinds of stories all the time to sell newspapers,” he said.

Sinitta, who helps to mentor Cowell’s contestants, added: “I honestly don’t know and that’s why I keep saying ‘she’ll be back, she’ll be back’.

“Nothing has been said officially to any of us and until it is I don’t know what is happening.”

Final contract negotiations for the judges – which include Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and Cheryl Cole – are scheduled to take place in March.

Meanwhile Dannii is back in Oz for summer, tennis, her new boyfriend and Australia’s Got Talent.

Now we can all get some sleep.

  1. does any1 no what happened 2 X Factor in australia on TEN i guess it didn’t have enough ratings , 2 bad its gone , i liked it coz it was kind of like aussi idol but im kinda over aussi idol

  2. I agree with Leo. I haven’t met Kylie but I met Dannii after her concert in London a few years ago. I was just expecting a quick photo and cd signing but she wouldn’t stop talking and it was actually me trying to get away from her! There were many others waiting to meet her and it was getting late so I didn’t want to take up too much time but she was talking about the awesome colours of the autumn trees in Scotland as I was about to head up there. She’s great!

  3. I adore Dannii – having met her quite a bit, she is one of the most lovely down to earth stars you will ever meet, always up for a chat, so friendly & always available to sign something or take a photo – she certainly does Australia proud internationally.
    I hope channel 7 here pick up UK X Factor – or any network for that matter, like Fox8 they could screen it the same day as the UK (at night) – its soooo much better than Australian Idol.
    I watched the last season online each week – fantastic show!

  6. The winner of AGT should get 7 minutes in a closet w/ Dannii haha. That would be a great prize. But its good she keeps getting employed, I like her a lot better than Kylie who comes off as plastic and forced to me
