Shaun Micallef will host the 2009 Melbourne International Comedy Gala, the 14th event with a star-studded line up of performers in aid of Oxfam Australia.
Local and international comedians will include Dave Hughes, Arj Barker, Tom Gleeson & Steve Coogan.
The two hour event airs 8:30pm March 30th on TEN, in place of Good News Week.

For Tegan : The Bundy song was by Otis Lee Crenshaw (Rich Hall) – one of the best going around – well worth seeing his full show.
That was the highlight for me – the lowlight being no Steve Coogan.

It’s been getting brilliant rating on Ten for years, there is no need for it to sell out to those channels.
As for Paul, he’s got other shows to do this year
Tony Harrison, it’s a shame you don’t like Paul. You almost like the two best things about comedy in the world, given your name is taken from The Mighty Boosh character. If not, then I apologise. And Jay Jay, I don’t see why it wont get any viewers if it is aired on Ten. I don’t have foxtel and I wouldn’t be able to watch it.

It’s on Ten every year since early 2000’s. I wouldn’t worry that no one will watch it on Ten when Foxtel will struggle to hold on to and get new subscribers even allowing for their brash wash ads at the moment
