Naomi Robson's name has been floated as a possibility for the host of a new weekly lifestyle show for Channel Seven.

naomirobsonNaomi Robson’s name has been floated as a possibility for the host of a new weekly lifestyle show for Channel Seven.

The Sunday Telegraph notes that Robson is still held in high regard by the network and being considered for the show which is expected to air outside of prime-time.

And so she should be. After all it was Robson who helped make TT a force to be reckoned with, after it had gone through a string of hosts. Robson pushed the show to meeting A Current Affair head-on, and became its host across the entire East Coast.

Although she was associated with several headline-grabbing blunders by the show, viewers also noticed that even after she had left the show, Today Tonight still managed to attract its share of flak.

After finishing a ten year run with TT, Robson recorded an afternoon talk show pilot. Despite positive feedback, the network didn’t pick it up.

There were even rumours she could go to Nine.

Robson says she has been busy with a multi-media concept but was interested in “taking a look” at the new project.

  1. “She seems to be a decent person”…

You only see a small view of what a person is actually like. It’s quite interesting to see some other aspects to them….

See her YouTube swearing tv clip when she thought they weren’t recording.

  2. I was lucky enough to be in the studio for a TT taping a few years back, only to witness Naomi demanding her eyebrows be brushed during a commercial break. She’s a joke, just like TT.

  3. even so i dont like her, i can see this on 7SD2 with better homes and gardens and those B&W movies from the 1940s, last time i checked Foxtel lifesttyle channel wasn’t going that bad so yeah it could work i guess. But I won’t be watching, less lifestyle is always better

  4. I think something a bit more relaxed than TT would be perfect for Naomi. She seems to be a decent person, perhaps not being in a trashy current affairs show would show the people of Australia that.
