ABC2 has a great classic movie fest coming up featuring some great flicks with Cary Grant.
It kicks off with the wonderfully screwball Bringing Up Baby also starring Katharine Hepburn. This 1938 gem by Howard Hawks will screen at 8:30pm Saturday May 3rd (and no, baby isn’t a baby…).
This season also includes Suspicion, Mr Lucky, The Bachelor and the Bobby Soxer, and Mr Blandings Builds His Dream House across the weeks thereafter.
Saturday nights are now a good reason for staying in. Thanks ABC2!

Here’s a rare one “Father Goose” will this be shown?
Absolutely brilliant idea! Bring on Saturday nights, I say!
It would be good to see “I Was a Male War Bride” , “Charade” and “Arsenic and Old Lace” added to this list. “Notorious” and “North by Northwest” would also make excellent viewing on a Saturday night. So many choices….
Not to mention Tony Curtis doing Cary Grant in Some Like it Hot!
