Girls turn it on for Ladettes auditions

Construction workers, strippers and bartenders were all competing at callbacks for Aussie Ladette to Lady.

l2l1Aussie Ladette to Lady callbacks at the Menzies Hotel in Sydney proved there was stiff competition for a place in the second series. Amongst those fighting for attention were construction workers, strippers and bartenders.

NineMSN notes the ladettes swore, belched and downed coffee secretly laced with spirits. Binge-drinking was a common theme along with brushes with the law.

Gold coast stripper Chanelle Blythe, 21, was not letting her court appearance next week on a public nuisance charge get in the way of her audition.

“It was for a fight outside a nightclub with another girl,” Ms Blythe explained.

“It ended with her on the floor and I think they got me just as I was going to kick her in the head.”

Charming.

“There is a routine that I strip to and it’s in my school uniform, it’s actually my real school uniform,” she added.

“I might have plans to make it (the uniform) sexy on the show, Eggleston Hall style.”

Kira Brown, 18, from McMahons Point, was the youngest ladette to make the final call back who said she often felt out of place in her posh neighbourhood.

“I walk around in my trackie dacks and ugg boots and swearing c*** this on the phone and they’re all like where is this c*** from,” Ms Brown said.

Another said it was her boss “who put the f***ing form in front of my face and said you need to go on here.”

Transgender applicant Samantha Stratford was not called back for a further audition.

  1. When does Aussie Ladette to Lady series 2 go to air and can anyone confirm who will be competing. I have been searching the net for the “successful” applicants. Can’t wait for the next episode. Go Girls … Aussie, Aussie, Aussie … well you know the rest.

  2. This show is absolutely golden.

In the British origial though the girls who completed the course wouldn’t make the cut.

The British seasons actually do transform the girls instead of just improving them a little.

There was no improvement in elocution in any of the girls.

    Still, great train wreck tv.

  3. Seems like ‘cattle call’ was more in tune with how low can you go to get your head on telly. What next trailer trash TV or a Aussie version of Jerry Springer with “actors posing as guests”.

  4. Why are they even bothering with another version? It must be relatively cheap to produce because the first one didn’t exactly set ratings on fire.
