Former Home and Away star Stephanie Jacobsen is the latest cast member to join the new version of Melrose Place (it’s still a crappy idea to revive it).
The actress, who starred as Doctor Charlotte Adams in the soap, has signed on to play Lauren, a medical student at UCLA, who moonlights as a high-end call girl.
Jacobsen, 28, joins previously cast Michael Rady, Katie Cassidy, Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and Jessica Lucas on The CW remake.
She also recently appeared in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

Thanks for the spoiler brisvegas!
not to mention, she was in BSG:Razor…..
Am disappointed she’s out of TSCC, but we never actually see her get killed….

Amen to that. But if they were to play original Melrose eps on Nine’s new multichannel, I’m sure I wouldn’t be alone watching them.
It’s certainly lazy to remake the show, but if its as trashy as the original I’ll be tuning in. Desperate Housewives just never lived up to the promise.
This is looking worse and worse. She ruined Terminator: TSCC and now she’s going to ruin MP. Hate most of the confirmed actors so far.
Ashlee Simpson?! Stinky.
i am interested in this. i think it could do ok if it is promoted well. it has made headlines a lot with casting rumors which is always good. now that it has an aussie in it it could be a promo line here.
can we assume that it will go to TEN or maybe foxtel.
Leave Melrose were it belongs – in the past! It was good, no, awesome at the time, but let’s not dig it up only to massacre it.
