Lane Garrison gets a real Prison Break

Former Prison Break actor Lane Garrison is released from prison, the legal way, after his role in a fatal car accident.

lanegarrison28-year-old actor Lane Garrison has been released from California Correctional Institute after he was imprisoned in November 2007.

The Prison Break actor was sentenced to 40 months in state prison after pleading guilty to vehicular manslaughter for his role in a car crash in Beverly Hills that left a 17-year-old boy dead and injured a 15-year-old girl.

At the time of the crash, Garrison had cocaine in his system and his blood alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit of 0.08 percent.

Garrison, who played David “Tweener” Apolskis on the first and second series of the FOX drama, was able to earn credits for good behaviour. Guess it was preferable to going through the walls…

Last week Garrison agreed to an undisclosed financial settlement with the victims and their family members involved in his 2007 car crash. The actor will now check himself into a rehabilitation center to shorten his probation period, sources claim.
