jlucyNow here’s an episode of Sunday Arts that will be worth catching. It features both Judith Lucy and Janeane Garofalo in a special One-on-One segment.

Having met overseas several years ago Lucy chats with her friend Garofalo.

The two fab comedians get together to discuss their successes, failures and deep panic at appearing on stage in front of large groups of people.

The two share a lot in common. Both have appeared on TV and in feature films, both have hosted radio programs, both are openly feminist, both share Irish heritage, and both are renowned for their stand-up comedy poking fun at popular culture and idealised images of women promoted in the media.

It will air 5pm on Sunday April 19th and repeated 7:30pm on ABC2.

  3. Awesome!!!! Saw Janeane last night at the Comedy Festival and had tears in my eyes for the entire evening!!! Awesome show!!! Can’t wait to see this program. Thanks David for bringing it to my attention, totally would have skipped over it!!!!

  4. David thank you so much, there is no way I would have picked this up if you didn’t have the article. Saw Judith live at the Adelaide Fringe a few weeks ago and she was just brilliant.
