The Courier Mail posts a little blurb on celebrities dating, ducking for cover and partying.

There’s even a reference to “what seemed to be an empty cocaine bag.”

Can’t help but wonder if anything would change if the TV awards is lured to Brisvegas, as the Bligh Government was courting a few months ago.

Anyway, the goss is all pretty tawdry stuff. If you wanna read it you’ll have to check out the Courier Mail ‘cos it ain’t gettin’ republished here…

  1. As much as I would love for all the filth attributed with the Logies to be up in Queensland and not down here, sadly Brisbane is no where near an ideal location to host a TV awards night, seeing as most production is in Victoria and New South Wales.
    Also Melbourne is a much more cultural city and award nights like this are more than deserved to be down here. The Crown Casino is a very nice place for the awards.

Queensland would probably be even more inconvenient for all the actors that are invited – as it is now a good portion of the stars of Sydney-based shows probably have to fly back first thing Monday morning. At least those who are Melbourne based get to stay in one place. If the Logies were in QLD everyone would have to fly back and forth.
