Congrats to Rove & Tasma

Rove McManus and Tasma Walton tie the knot in a private ceremony on a beach in Broome.

rovetasmaNot often this site dwells on the romantic lives of television stars, but at least this is a happy occasion!

Congratulations to Rove McManus and Tasma Walton who were wed in a private ceremony in Broome this week.

Rove McManus and Tasma Walton are pleased to confirm that they were married on Tuesday June 16 in a private beach ceremony in Broome, Western Australia,” a statement from the couple read.

“They celebrated the day with a small group of close family and friends. It was Tasma who proposed to Rove, having first asked his mother for her blessing. There are no honeymoon plans and both Rove and Tasma will be returning to the east coast for work commitments.”

It follows a very private relationship between the TEN personality and the actress, often shielded from becoming magazine fodder.

On his Twitter page (and he loves his Twittering), McManus simply said, “Thanks for the messages everyone. Very happy.”

Tasma said: “The day was everything we hoped for: simple, quiet and intimate, in a beautiful Broome landscape with a small group of family and close friends celebrating beside us.

Rove added: “Tasma and I are very happy and look forward to that continuing for a long time to come. It was wonderful to get to share that happiness with both our families and friends around us.”

2009 is a big year for the TEN star, with Logie wins, good ratings and a new television programme The 7pm Project for his company, Roving Enterprises.

Belinda would be happy knowing Rove has found love, hope & a future. And she will bring many blessings to his & Tasma’s life.

  4. Well good thing no one did ask you eh Nathan. 35 is too young to be a lifelong widower the rest of your life.

Good luck to them both, well deserved.

  5. he’s such a sly dog and never lets on about this sort of stuff, no one would have guessed it from last weeks show, but he usually makes an announcement on the next show after the news breaks so we should probably expect the same this sunday. congrats to them both.
