Double All Saints for Melbourne

Melbourne has a double ep of All Saints next week, delaying Packed to the Rafters by a week.

alls2Melbourne viewers who miss out on Packed to the Rafters next week, due to Nine’s screening of the EJ Whitten Legends Game, will get a double dose of new All Saints instead.

This puts Melbourne ahead of the rest of the country on the medico soap, at least temporarily.

Seven will screen a double Rafters in Melbourne a week later, bringing all viewers back into line.

The irony is, next Tuesday night Seven has the $90M lotto draw during that timeslot anyway. Forget about AFL – Melbourne will be spellbound by 7 little bouncing balls along with the rest of the country.

  1. According to ebroadcast TV guide, Tasmania and Darwin will also get double episodes of All Saints on June 30, and double episodes of Packed to the Rafters the week after. The rest of Northern Territory will follow NSW/QLD with PTTR and All Saints on June 30.

    Classic line, David.

  3. @ Jerome: Seven will definitely show the Oz Lotto draw, either before All Saints/Packed to the Rafters or during the show’s first ad break.

  4. Does anyone actually watch the OzLotto draw? I imagine most people (like me) just check their ticket at the shop or get the numbers online.

  5. So they don’t want to clash Rafters with the game and put Melbourne behind the country by a week.

Then they slot All Saints and push Melbourne ahead by a week

(Bangs head on table whilst marvelling at this programming genius)

  6. ah that’s cool, then by the next week it’ll all be in line across all markets. Have shows which have big lotto draws been known to have ratings increases?
