No change to revenue reporting
Seven, Nine and TEN have opted not to change the way their revenue figures are issued to advertisers.

In a victory for common sense, Seven, Nine and TEN have opted not to change the way their revenue figures are issued to advertisers.
At a meeting for Free TV Australia, Nine and Seven opposed changing the system, according to The Australian.
It follows an earlier report which claimed TEN could see “no compelling reason” to continue releasing its share position.
It is understood Seven and Nine considered dropping some numbers, including share splits and metropolitan numbers, but thought any change would be frowned on by advertisers and media buyers.
The next set of figures, for the six months to June, is due next month.

thanks David
A random question: how come the word TEN is spelt with all capital letters, yet Seven and Nine aren’t?
This has been asked before Gerry, it’s in keeping with OzTAM share report style. Caps are also used for FOX8, MAX, SBS ONE etc.
