Talking Heads: Graeme Blundell

Actor, writer and director Graeme Blundell has over 40 years of roles -but he is forever remembered for one.

gbOn next Monday’s Talking Heads Peter Thompson talks to actor, writer and director, Graeme Blundell.

Blundell has directed over 100 plays, acted in about the same number and appeared in more than 40 films and hundreds of hours of TV, including The Hollowmen most recently.

He’s been Associate Director of the Melbourne Theatre Company and Artistic Director of Kinsela’s in Sydney, written biographies of Graham Kennedy and  Brett Whiteley, plus his own autobiography, The Naked Truth, A Life in Parts and is currently regular columnist in The Australian.

But everyone still remembers him for Alvin Purple, the irresistable 1970s sex magnet on film and television.

This episode airs 6:30pm Monday June 29th on ABC1, followed a week later by businesswoman, charity worker and Western Bulldogs board member Susan Alberti, who launched a defamation case against Sam Newman.
