so there is still no info on host, filming city, ect.?
So jimbo… Were you there as a geek or supporting a geek? 🙂
The West Australian is incorrect. I attended the Perth audition and there was 15+ guys. That being said I heard that there was over 70 females. :S
Still a lousy turnout.
Oh go on, it’s a great show! Can’t believe an Aussie version will succeed but let’s not diss the original. And I’m definitely curious to see what the Australian cast are like.
It makes me wonder what makes the ‘beauties’ are thinking auditioning for the show. Okay, you might think you’re attractive, but anyone who has watched the show know that the more ‘bimbo-like’ you are, the better. So, if I was considering auditioning, if believed that I was pretty, would I also have to believe that I’m dumb?
Strange show. Will not watch.
Why bother? The U.S. version airs in a graveyard timeslot, and I doubt that an Aussie version would perform any better.
According to The West Australian the other day (article is also up on thewest.com.au), only four ‘geeks’ turned up to the Perth auditions. Wonder how the other cities will go.
Oh god no. Lets hope seven changes its mind and scraps this bottom of the barrel reality show.
