As expected, City Homicide is returning to Seven on Monday August 10th.
At least, that’s according to an article in today’s Daily Telgraph.
No prizes for guessing this one, or the 8:30pm timeslot. After all, it’s where the show first started out.
TV Tonight can confirm it is also back with a double episode.
This pits the show against The Farmer Wants a Wife, Good News Week, Drop Dead Diva, and Dexter on commercial rivals.
Next Monday Sydney and Brisbane viewers get the movie Knocked Up while Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth get the Desperate Housewives / Brothers & Sisters finales. Then we’re all back on track!
Updated: Seven is also offering the last 4 episodes on its website.

I like this program. I’ll have to crank up the old VCR to record The Farmer Wants a Wife on WIN, while the DVD recorder records CH. I do this because I can’t stand watching shows which are full of ads, preferring to fast forward through the ads. Also, I will sometimes be working night shift on Mondays.
I don’t really like CH, but good to see Aussie dramas in high-profile timeslots throughout the week, with the weekly schedule soon to look like: Rescue on Sundays, this on Mondays, PTTR and AS on Tuesdays, and Rush on Thursdays. Hopefully they can all retain decent audiences (although it doesn’t matter for All Saints as it’s been cancelled -undeservedly, might I add).
Well its logical whewn you think DH will have finished nationally next monday and the promo said coming to mondays so…. the 10th.
Can’t wait. Love it’s back on monday nights. After housewives finished I thought there would be othing to watch at 8:30. It should be a winner in that timeslot.
Great !! Monday nights on CH 7 are interesting again.
Will have to PVR or watch repeats of Australian Story and 4 Corners for a while.
BTW, GNW was woeful this week at least half the panel appeared to have downed one glass too many…..
Back on track…untill the Brownlow comes up
This season of CH is looking brilliant – fantastic new promo’s and what looks like a big return to some character development that was sorely missing through Season 2.
Here’s hoping it can return to big numbers
Knocked Up should do good.
I almost forgot about Dexter, but I doubt it will be a threat to 7 or 9. Great to see it on FTA just a shame it doesn’t rate better.
