Talkin’ ‘Bout Your Generation: guests

Next week it's Noeline Brown, Angus Sampson and yes, Nikki Webster.

tbygAnd here’s a look at the upcoming guests on Talkin’ ‘Bout Your Generation.

Next week it’s Noeline Brown, Angus Sampson and yes, Nikki Webster.

Then on August 11 it’s Denise Drysdale (did TEN hear those pleas to bring Ding Dong back?), Claudia Karvan and Hamish Blake.

Blake also has a role in the upcoming Librarians on ABC1. At this rate he’s gonna overtake Alan Dale for guest appearances!

It airs 7:30pm Tuesdays on TEN.

  1. i dont know what ne of u have against Nikki Webster- what has the poor girl done to you?
im not saying everyone has to like her but its pretty simple- if u dont like her, dont watch.
btw all ur doing by constantly mentioning her name on here is actually giving her more publicity and comming across kinda pathetic that ur wasting ur time having a whinge about it.
seriously get ova it people and live and let live!

im gona watch because i think its a great show and im not gona stop for 1 celebrity.

    1. I agree there’s no need to keep bashing Nikki. It was inevitable there would be some tall poppy criticism towards a child star trying to mature but that was years ago. Just watch and enjoy TBYG for what it is…

  2. Kylie – the show has its own cutoffs for the generations – they have Gen X going from 1965 to 1979, which means that 1980 is the start of Gen Y as far as the show is concerned, even though most sources say it started around 1982.

  3. I don’t know why people hate Nikki – she’s not particularly annoying or offenisve. Anyway… looking forward to seeing Claudia Karvan and Denise.

  4. Andy should have been a Gen X-er last night – he was born in 1981 and Gen Y ‘starts’ from 1982!

Maybe he was bumped to ‘Y’ so Carey Hart could be on…..

  5. Why Nikki Webster??? There are heaps of other Gen Y’ers to choose from, why did they have to pick her???
I’ll still watch though, Angus Sampson is hilarious.

  6. Am I the only one who is completely over Nikki Webster? Her continuing efforts to promote an entertainment career are just not working and she really needs to consider some other options.

  7. Ooh, I’d like to see Alan Dale on TBYG! He is so ubiquitous internationally, it’d just be cool for that reason alone.

Maybe a movie actor, too, like Sam Neill or Geoffrey Rush (who has been on Spicks and Specks a couple of times, and was brilliant fun).

  8. Yesterday Shaun was on the Hamish and Andy show to promote TBYG (Andy appeared on last night’s episode) and he did mention Noeline Brown would be a special guest.
