Thank God breaks free
For their 90 min finale, Thank God You're Here features a special mockumentary-style parody of films like High School Musical and Center Stage.

This week’s final Thank God You’re Here stretches to an extended 90 minutes.
Hamish Blake, Angus Sampson, Felicity Ward, Toby Truslove and Josh Lawson all feature in their own scenario.
All five also participate in the “All In” on the set of a game show “Showbiz Squares”.
But the show also has an extended segment, “Breakin’ Free”. Filmed on location, and not at the Thank God studio, it parodies film musicals. Think High School Musical meets Center Stage. Is Working Dog turning into Christopher Guest & co?
All five performers suddenly appear as ‘mockumentary’-style characters; the story of five disenfranchised social misfits who are locked in by society and come to realise that only dance can let them out. Be afraid.
It airs from 7:30pm Wednesday on Seven.

Hamish on Seven?? Is his contract and exclusivity to TEN over??
Or am I just the last person to know??
That Toby Truslove… I remember seeing him in Beaconsfield: The Musical… he was hysterical! Funniest comic actor in Australia… someone should snap him up for his own sitcom… and could he please stop leaving empty glasses in my living room and pay $120 for the Electricity Bill!
there was just an ad for new CM at 8:30. woops.
@Bre Saxs:
It would only be logical that Seven or Working Dog release this to DVD considering that a lot of their audience has been sucked up by MasterChef Australia.
I thought i’d wait for the DVD this season, after I missed the first episode. Hopefully it gets released soon.
It airs this Wednesday from 7:30pm on Seven, unless it gets dropped for a Michael Jackson special.
Hopefully this season will eventually get a DVD release, as I missed some episodes that I would like to see.
