There are set pieces, costumes and collectors’ artifacts on offer, all of which will be on show at the San Diego Comic-Con convention, which gets underway Thursday.

Sci Fi Channel did the same thing when Battlestar Galactica wound up.

Wonder if any of our Aussie shows should start to think about this? Certainly Drover’s Run went up for auction after Nine finished McLeod’s Daughters, but it’s not quite the same thang…

What’s worth grabbing off the All Saints set?

  1. In 1977, after “Number 96” was axed, Channel Ten in Sydney had a live televised auction in the grounds of the TV station one Sunday. The auctioneer was Joe “the Gadget Man” Sandow, the cast was watching the action from the top of the “Number 96” double decker bus – and I bought Giovanni’s green deli jacket for the bargain price of $7. I wore it often in the 70s and early 80s. It now has pride of place on a mannequin in my house.

  2. Hmm.. What’s worth grabbing off the All Saints set ei? Well, there’s a lot of used syringes? Hospital bedding?

…Yeah, not many Aussie shows should think about doing this. The soaps could do it with some things, but not all shows.

😛 Underbelly memorabilia.. Drugs, drugs and more drugs.

  3. Off the All Saints set I’ll take the sliding doors that lead from the ambulance bay into the ED. Would make a nice entrance to my garage!
