If ever there was a show that should advise “Do Not Attempt This At Home” here it is -a doco on the Austrian who imprisoned his his 16-year-old daughter in a make-shift dungeon for 24 years.
This grisly case will look at how he repeatedly raped and tortured her and how she bore her own father seven children – three of whom lived their whole lives incarcerated with her up until their release in April 2008.
Josef Fritzl: Story of a Monster features exclusive interviews with Fritzl family members, Fritzl’s best friend and former colleagues as well interviews with some of the unsuspecting tenants who lived their everyday lives inches from where Elisabeth and her children were kept hostage. It also includes an interview with psychiatrist Dr Adelheid Kastner, who interviewed Fritzl soon after his arrest.
It airs Wednesday, August 19 at 9:30pm on the Crime & Investigation Network.
Do not attempt this at home.

Skin crawling is right – this creature set the bar very very low, I feel sorry for his children.
