Last week in the Hobart Criminal Court two men admitted attacking Gardening Australia‘s Tasmanian presenter Robert Carnevale last November. The pair admitted they punched, kicked, stomped and smashed Mr Carnevale’s head into the footpath until he was unconscious. They will be sentenced this week.

Now thieves have made off with Mr Squiggle memorabilia from a shop window.

David Dennis, started a collection of memorabilia earlier this year. It was on display for the 50th celebrations of the beloved character, celebrated in July.

“When I bought him it felt a bit special, his birth is the same year as mine,” he said.

“He was also in very good condition. This is really disappointing and I hope he is returned.”
