When Fenella meets Ang

The ever so talented director Ang Lee, best known for The Ice Storm, Brokeback Mountain and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon will appear on the ABC’s Sunday Arts this weekend.

Lee was recently in Australia for the release of his latest film Taking Woodstock. He will chat with Fenella Kernebone.

His moved from Taiwanese culture in his early films to the broader landscape that is Hollywood, yet still manages to keep an aura of independence.

He won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language film for Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, and the Academy Award Best Director for Brokeback Mountain.

Wonder if they’ll bother to broach The Hulk?

Either way it will definitely be worth a look for movie buffs.

It airs 5pm Sunday on ABC1 and 7:30pm on ABC2.
