7PM’s live push-up pads moment

"I've got all these things in my boobs!" Carrie Bickmore told her castmates, as she removed bra insert pads live on television.

cbMany years ago Kate Langbroek made headlines for breastfeeding during an episode of The Panel, a live first on Australian television.

Last night on TEN’s 7PM Project Carrie Bickmore was in the middle of a panel discussion about female body image during sex, when she was driven to remove bra insert pads live on television.

“I’m being pretty honest here. During the day I feel good about myself… I walk around, and I don’t have big boobs or anything, and I think my boobs look alright. But you know why I look alright? Because I’ve got all these things in my boobs!

Bickmore reached into her cleavage.

“I’m serious, when I get into the bedroom I don’t have any of these things. It’s just me!”

She took out push-up enhancements and lay them on the desk. A brutally honest moment? Or too much information?

“I know we need to get over our insecurities, but you guys need to know that they’re there.”

It was the intro to the next segment that made it all the more stark….

“Now some disturbing news from the UK today,” she began…

  1. Fascinating to read these comments over six years (and nine Logie Nominations and three wins) later! Carrie is a major player on Australian TV and her phenomenal success since 2009 supports this notion. I didn’t realise the show had been around for so long, though! I’m glad it survived (in spite of people’s prediction of doom and gloom back in 2009). Carrie for Gold in 2016!!! 🙂

  2. Wow, people are Nasty. I totally love Carrie, and her being a Perth girl like me makes her more likeable. It seems that her biggest followers are the critics, which proves that they obviously don’t have anything better to do than disss somebody who is 10x more attractive and successful than themselves. Just saying, waste your time on something else…
    Love ya Carrie !

  3. C’mon, this is stupid, she was clearly just stating that no-one is perfect, you dont need anything special to be loved, im straight and i think it would be quite entertaining for all men out there! Leave her alone, it was a harmless statement.

  4. Maybe they could have a segment each week where she pull stuff out of her top, tells everyone that men and the media are to blame and that she has now empowered women. Or she can get some help/counselling in private.

  5. @Ducko
Well said, you can tell they’re scratching when they resort to cheap stunts like this. The show is a flop, it’s about as interesting as watching skin form on a custard.

  6. Ducko if you don’t like it, don’t watch it!

Not every TV show was made with you in mind. Some of us find this much better than an episode of The Simpsons we’ve seen 8 times.
