AFL is losing its way in Sydney!! They are talking about another team and yet we cant even watch live games! Have started going to NRL games.. A shame.
oh god, nasal annoying bruce again !!!!!!!!!
”its a ssssspesssshial niiiiight,
its the 3rd time, this yeeeeear ,in this month, of the last decaaaade, in this centuryyyy that we seee allllthese delishhhhiouuussssss players in one place,
itsssss soooo spesssshhhhiaaaaaallllll !!! ‘
11:40 is ridiculously too late. it should be 11 at the latest, 10:30 would have been best, obviously they wouldn’t show it in prime time but sheesh, 11:30!
@ John: it’s 8pm local time.
Will it we shown into SA and WA at 8pm Melbourne time (ie live) or 8pm local time (delayed)?
Smart move by Seven playing the City Homicide ep that would have been shown on Monday one the Wednesday which means the whole country will be still be in sync the following Monday.
The night of nights!
Last year it was shown live on Main Event for Foxtel subscribers in Qld and NSW. I hope they do the same this year.
Blue Carpet? Surely thats a typo.. its Red Carpet isnt it? Good, Ill be watching.. Hope Dane Swan doesnt win it.
Any chance Sydney and Brisbane viewers will get the Brownlow Medal telecast live on 7HD?
Dark blue is also actually one of the main colours of the medal, reason for blue carpet.
it works out better when the brownlow and emmys are show on different networks, this way those who want to watch the emmys and dont have foxtel can watch it without having to stay up till the early hours. on years when ten don’t have the brownlow i have noticed that both ten and foxtel have been showing the emmys at 8.30 meaning that it is on two networks at the same time
@ Craig H: the arrival of guests (mainly AFL players and their partners) this year is sponsored by Toyota Prius hybrid car, hence the blue carpet.
dont they normally show the last 30 mins or so of it live into Sydney and Brisbane? and whats with a blue carpet??
Can anyone explain why they keep giving work to Hamish McLachlan?
He’s terrible, and the only reason he got a job was because he’s the brother of the AFL’s commercial chief!
Get Denis Cometti or Sandy Roberts instead.
Looks like I’ll have to watch it being telecast live elsewhere since Brisbane doesnt get it until 11:40.
