Airdate: Stefano’s Cooking Paradiso

Yet another new culinary show will premiere next month, but given it’s on the LifeStyle FOOD Channel it’s to be expected!

Stefano’s Cooking Paradiso, sees the return to television for chef and restaurateur, Stefano de Pieri (A Gondola on the Murray).

“Stefano is both engaging and knowledgeable, the perfect character to have at the helm of this delicious, beautifully shot series,” said Nicole Sheffield,  from LifeStyle FOOD. “It’s very Australian with an Italian twist and reflects Stefano’s desire, one that we share, to promote local producers and talent, while taking advantage of the stunning locations we have right here on our own doorstep.”

In this eight-part series, de Pieri takes viewers on a culinary adventure around the Sunraysia/Mallee region, using local produce for his special Italian/Australian dishes.

He will hunt, gather and cook his way through locations including a houseboat on the Murray River, vineyards, orange groves, and even a sunset BBQ on a salt lake.

There are also appearances from celebrity chefs such as Stephanie Alexander and Mark Olive, and the Italian mamma next door.

Stefano’s Cooking Paradiso screens Saturdays at 7.30pm from October 10 on LifeStyle FOOD.
