Creative Arts Emmy Awards: Winners

South Park beats The Simpsons. Tina Fey wins for her Palin impressions, and those opening titles on United States of Tara win.

tara_03Winners at the 2009 Creative Arts Emmy Awards hosted by Kathy Griffin on the weekend saw accolades going to Generation Kill, Grey Gardens, American Idol, Pushing Daises and Little Dorrit.

Tina Fey was named best guest actress in a comedy series for her impersonation of Gov. Sarah Palin., Ellen Burstyn and Michael J. Fox, were honored for their guest stints on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Rescue Me respectively.

South Park beat The Simpsons, although Dan Castellaneta won a voiceover award.

And good to see a win for the opening titles on United States of Tara.
