Footy Show: Barnsey, Hulk Hogan

The NRL Footy Show features Jimmy Barnes performing live and wrestling star Hulk Hogan tonight.

jb3Baaaaaaaaaaaarnsey performs live on the NRL Footy Show tonight, and former WWE star Hulk Hogan will make an appearance.

Also on the show Titans five-eighth Mat Rogers will discuss his team’s preparations for Friday’s sudden-death game against Parramatta while Eels warhorse Nathan Hindmarsh will take viewers deep inside his camp.

Meanwhile, ahead of Saturday’s clash between the Brisbane Broncos and St George Illawarra Dragons, Corey Parker will reveal how the Broncos plan to record their first finals win at Suncorp Stadium and knock the wounded Dragons out of the race. St George winger Wendell Sailor and injured Brisbane forward Ben Te’o will file insider reports from their team camps.

NRL chief executive David Gallop joins the panel to talk about the state of the game, and Brett Morris and his twin Josh Morris talk about their success so far this season.

It airs at 9:30pm in Sydney and Brisbane and 11:45 in other cities.

  1. The worrying thing is, is that the combined IQ scores of the panellists and guests will be higher than the NRL footy shows total viewing numbers.
    This is the only show nine refuses to axe in light of woeful ratings. Generally the AFL footy show’s ratings in Melbourne alone more than cover the combined NRL ratings in Sydney and Brisbane.
    Entertainment is the name of the game and while people, sometimes justly criticise 2.5 men for its style of humour the people who script the show have excelled in their craft and the ratings are testimony to that. The NRL footy show’s attempt at humour and entertainment is scripted by morons who resort to the lowest common denominator to get a laugh.
    No matter how much they hope for a ratings spike by bringing in ‘known’ guests in the long run Rubbish production values = rubbish ratings.
