I agree with Simon – where’s Ellen??? Is the repeat being moved back to Channel 9?? They should keep Ellen then show one cycle of The ARIA Chart Show, then repeat the earlier block of programming.
wheres ellen!?
Agreed – Go! is better than Nine!
@ Timmy: some of the shows you mention are made by 20th Century Fox, and Ten or Foxtel now holds the rights to them.
Maybe they should add repeats of Brady Bunch? 😛
@ ryaneco – i’d say Weeds and Curb would have to be 9.30pm at the earliest due to classification.
andrew B- excellent to here they are advertising vampire diaries on 9 too, i’ve been worried that maybe there won’t be enough awareness.
I don’t get the point of having South Park on a Sunday, since it’s already on Saturday. They could have left Old Christine in the schedule at 8:30, and then put on Weeds after it followed by Curb Your Enthusiasm after it, that would’ve been way better. But other than that, I think the schedule is looking pretty good.
Any chance of GO! airing Chuck or Pushing Daisies?
GO is in local time – like channel 9 is. No need to subtract / add anything.
Have seens ads on channel 9 for Vampire Diaries on GO. First ad on 9 for GO since August (that I know of). Due to conflicts though, we’ll be recording the repeat episode.
So, are the timings, local time or do we add a hour/three hours in non DST areas (i.e, GO running on Sydney time, with local schedules)?
@tasmanian devil: phew, at least someone heard me. If you happen to work for 9 let them know, cheers.
It’s a bit concerning how every fortnight or so that an episode of Big Bang Theory gets dropped. It started off with four eps and now it’s down to two.
@Paull about the bit rate and blocky shows, we heard you the first time.
Glad to see Weeds and Nip/Tuck back!
Repeats of (the original) Melrose Place, thirtysomething, Picket Fences, Ally McBeal etc would sit well on this channel.
Vampire Diaries episode 2 was actually better than Episode 1 … so hang in there …!
Jack!
Nice schedule, maybe a few too many episodes of Seinfeld and movies, could throw in Full House, Step By Step, Fresh Prince, Family Matters instead.
Wednesdays are the only night I won’t watch GO but I can see why so many people I know love it, 3 hours of Sci-Fi. Could add in the X-Files at 11:30 perhaps?
Saturday nights could be improved by showing some original programming from MTV or comedy channels or some US talk shows.
Do you know what comes after the finale of Bachelor and Dance Your Ass Off?
Overall, it’s better than Seven, Nine and Ten
@ Ben Aria Chart Show will still be on 5pm Saturdays.
Take out TMZ and Entertainment Tonight and I’ve found a new home
Awesome! Something good to watch on Sunday night! Can’t wait…
bindi
on media spy website, after the bachelor and the bachelorette, we will be getting the next season, same with survivor.
ryan eco…
They are sarting at season 5 for south park .
aliens in america went for a season in the US, and all 5 final episodes will be on next sunday.
So only shows really to go are old christine and just shoot me.
I think they should have on at say 8pm during the week either seinfeld , old christine or speeders
@Earthquake – Aliens has it’s final 5 eps this Sunday in s 2.5 hour run, there were only 18 eps made.
Thanks for the Drop Dead Diva info, who didn’t see that coming?
And I ask again where is Old Christine, S3 just started and it’s gone again!
Ben, I would have thought it was still on but pushed back to after the block repeat.
I am really dissapointed they have removed the Aria Chart Show out of the lineup. I quite enjoyed having that recorded on the Tivo so i had music videos to watch whenever without ads.
Any word on if they are gonna fix up the quality on launch? Or if they are not my advice would be not to have promos that move really fast so you notice the picture break up. kthx
Not happy that Christine has been bumped yet again, but I have no doubt that it will appear on Go sometime hopefully soon. I do want to see it go to a weekdays.
Nothing much interests me on Sunday and Monday night anymore on Go, except for
Big Bang Theory otherise the rest of the week looks good.
Is Go! going to replay last week’s ep of Drop Dead Diva by any chance?
Damn what about the classic 80s movies on Sunday nights? 🙁
