Lincoln Lewis leaves Home & Away

Home & Away is set to lose one of its most popular hearthrobs as Lincoln Lewis exits to pursue film opportunities.

ll21 year old teenage hearthrob Lincoln Lewis films his final scene for Home & Away tomorrow after a two year run on the Seven soap.

Lewis, who won a Logie for his role as Geoff Campbell, will take up a role in role in the film Tomorrow: When The War Began.

“I’ve been working in the training for the film with my commitments on Home and Away, so it’s been pretty busy,” Lewis said.

“It’s exciting. It’s sad to be leaving the cast and crew on Home and Away. It was a hard decision to make, but I also think it’s the right time to go.”

In June he admitted to filming a private sex act last year on his mobile phone. He was also a hot favourite in Dancing with the Stars.

He will remain on screen for several more months.

Hey by the way were you going to be at glenelg adelaide on the weekend for a beach thingy cause if you were awesome.Alos please don’t leave home and away it’s the best show in the whole world and it would be awful if you went especially how you and ruby make such a good couple it would be so disappointing for me and all the other fans including my sister who thinks are are totally hot like anything.It wouls be a shame if you left cause everyone would miss you and wondering who would replace you. are u getting replaced by another guy. it would mean the world to me if you personally would write back a little coomment and you’ve probably heard that a million times but this is true.   6. Hey Lincoln Lewis aka Geoff. I really enjoy home and away and the fact that your on there your awesome If I ever miss it I would watch it online. I hope your new career will make you happy, You will be missed alot by all the home and away fans. I actually tried to meet you at the Royal Adelaide Show 2009 but I got the days wrong. I know you prob get told this alot but would mean the world to me if i could actually meet you in person or maybe if thats not going to happen that you would atleast write back to me Please would really appreciate it..

Lincoln Lewis i most likely wanmt you to still be on the show, and if u leave it wont be the same without u!!!!! since cassie left Bobby left Sally left Flinn left Dan died Belle died JAck died Jack wife died. and if u leave it would be horrible i Love Home and Away and have watched since the day i got home from hossptie and have always dreamed of playing a part in home and away anways bye stay on the the show plz i rreeconmend it (my BBF has pics of u all aroubd her house and other stuff from home and away) she will be dissapionted!! and so will I!!!!!! 🙁 🙁

  8. Lincoln – who????? Big deal – in no time the egos of these so-called ‘hunks’ come crashing down to reality when they find themselves having to find a real job – the acting skills of this guy won’t carry him far.

  12. So are those the only actors we know of involved in the film? I wonder which role Lincoln’s going to have. He’s a decent enough actor, but he won’t be able to pull off Lee or Chris so it’d have to be Kevin. I’m so excited about the film… and Thankfully they’ve cast Caitlin as Ellie, the only character who doesn’t have to cry because that’s the only emotion she failed to convey very well during her time on Neighbours.

    I understand why they’re using these guys in the movie, because they’re recognisable names in a much anticipated, recognisable film series. Though from what I read, the last 4 books are becoming a Tv-Series which should be great. I’ve been wishing for that since they came out!

  14. He said this morning that on ‘The Morning show’ that he may return away in near future, which means that Geoff doesn’t die or get killed , but leaves the bay to go interstate or overseas.

  15. So if he shoots his final scene tomorrow and considering that H & A film their story-lines about 3 months in advance, would one be correct in assuming his character may be involved in this year’s cliff-hanger?

    I’m suprised he’s leaving first and not Jodi Gordon, considering she’s had more adverse publicty – perhaps a few more departures are in the wings??

First a Neighbours chick gets a role in the film and now H&A guy – my heart is sinking each time i hear more about this movie project. it’s always dangerous taking on much loved books/characters but geez talk about low-balling it with the casting choices. Fingers crossed with more time to focus on a scene then I assume they take on H&A his acting talent will shine through??

  21. im fairly sure Ch 7 has a hunky guy production line somewhere, when one leaves the next one is trotted out, his acting career wont go anywhere as hes a dreadful actor, he has about 3 facial expressions that he uses no matter the situation his character finds himself, his character is really annoying as well. ill be more curious to see where his co-start Todd Lasance ends up when leaves the bay, hes a great young actor and stands out as such on H&A like a sore thumb compared with all the amateurs around him!
